Lopaus Point
Lopaus Point is named after where founder, Stacie Skinner, who grew up on the coast of Maine. Her most fond childhood memories are those spent with her mother, Eva, in their Lopaus Point kitchen. Stacie recalls picking wild blueberries in the summer, canning fresh garden vegetables for the long winter ahead, and the smell of the salty ocean air on Lopaus Point. The name Lopaus Point is a tribute to the love they shared for one another and the joy that came from cooking together.
Stacie is a food allergy parent and advocate. When her son was diagnosed with special diet needs at a young age, Stacie created their delicious and nutritious waffles in their home kitchen with ingredients you likely have in your pantry. Since the beginning, the Lopaus Point team has included differently abled people. They are partners with GoodWill Columbus to support their mission of being an engaged employer in their community.
