Young Kobras was founded by Geoff, a San Franciscan vegan baker. While working at a cafe that specialized in healthy and allergen-friendly food, he was continually disappointed by the gluten-free items. Every ingredient label listed gums, starches, and refined flours—nothing with any real nutritional value. He knew there had to be a better option. Working with simple, whole ingredients (just like his mom, a dietician, had taught him) Geoff spent over a year experimenting and perfecting a delicious gluten-free sourdough bread. And so Young Kobras was born: serving up fresh, nutritious, gluten-free bread like you’ve never tasted before.
Young Kobras bakes whole-grain, vegan, gluten-free sourdough bread that tastes great and makes your body feel good.
