Little Apple Treats
Sebastopol
Our Apple Cider Caramels with Rose Petals and Cocoa Nibs are a 2016 Good Food Awards winner!
Our Apple Cider Caramels and Apple Cider Vinegar with Tarragon and Anise Hyssop are 2015 Good Food Awards winners!
We finished picking the day before the first real rains made the orchard too soft to take the tractor out last fall. All our granolas have wonderful new-crop dried apples, including Red Rome Beauty, Gravenstein, and Pink Pearl.
Our new apple biscotti use organic wheat berries and organic dent corn that we grind in our own mill for each batch! These twice-baked treats are not too sweet, letting the fruit flavors from our apples, along with farmers' market citrus, shine through.
And check out our new varieties of our famed apple cider caramels! And our new apple granola, Wassail the Trees, that will keep you warm, thanks to the freshly-grated ginger in every bag!
For all of our apple products we use the best ingredients we can find - local, organic walnuts and almonds from the Sacramento Valley, organic olive oil from a third-generation farm in Stockton, and West coast oats. Our organic sugar is unprocessed and fair trade, the piloncillo from an ejido in Mexico, the sorghum from a small farm in Kentucky. It's more difficult to make it this way, but you can taste the difference!
