Joined by his brother Pete and friend Laura O'Neill, they launched Van Leeuwen in 2008 with a single ice cream truck designed to bring artisanal ice cream to Manhattan.
Operating out of Brooklyn, NY, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream quickly gained a following for its ultra-premium, artisanal flavors and rich, creamy textures. What started as one truck has grown into a company with over 60 scoop shops across the United States and an international presence with a location in Singapore.
