Tahoe Artesian Water
Tahoe Artesian Water brings water from a local, natural and sustainable source from a family owned source since 1945. The family owns a protected single aquifer located 6000’ above sea level in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, deep in the Late Tahoe National Forest. Every winter, the snow melts and flows into subterranean aquifers that pressurize the family’s spring. This water is never exposed to pollutants and thus does not require distillation, chlorination, or reverse osmosis. Their commitment to sustainability is demonstrated by the use of only excess water. This allows for the aquifer to stay full and in harmony with the environment. They also minimize their carbon footprint by distributing their water locally within Northern California and using eco-friendly packaging. Their mission is to offer a sustainable alternative with an unique story to imported and purified waters.
