Stepladder Ranch was established at the turn of the 19th century and has been family owned and operated for three generations. We're known locally and industry wide as one of the premier California Hass avocado growers. Situated in a protected valley six miles inland from the Cambria coastline at the northernmost end of the California Avocado Belt, we have an ideal microclimate with consistently mild growing conditions that allow our avocados to have one of the longest maturing cycles in the world, producing avocados that are meatier, more luscious in flavor, and richer in oil.
