Redhead Creamery began its journey in 2013 on the 240-acre family farm, Jer-Lindy Farms, with a mission to create outstanding, artisanal cheese. Alise Sjostrom, the President, Cheesemaker, and Resident Redhead, had a vision inspired by a 4-H youth trip to Wisconsin at the age of 16. Determined to bring her dream to life, Alise pursued a self-designed curriculum at the University of Minnesota, focusing on cheese and dairy food quality.

After her formal education, Alise further honed her craft by training with the Vermont Institute for Artisan Cheese. She then spent five years living and working in Vermont and Wisconsin, gaining invaluable experience in the field. Her journey came full circle when she returned to the family farm to establish Redhead Creamery.

Redhead Creamery is committed to producing high-quality, flavorful cheeses that honor the traditions of cheesemaking while incorporating innovative techniques. Each batch is made with care, using milk sourced directly from their farm, ensuring freshness and quality in every bite.

The passion and dedication of Alise and her family are evident in every wheel and wedge of cheese produced at Redhead Creamery.
