Late July Organic Snacks
Boston, MA
Nicole Bernard Dawes grew up in a food-centric family. Her father founded Cape Cod Potato Chips and her mother open and ran a health food store in the 1970s. With these two family influences as inspiration, when Nicole was expecting her first child in 2003, her cravings for healthy saltine crackers lead her to create her own.
Coaxing her father out of retirement, the two went on to create Late July foods to provide families with healthy, organic, and non-GMO alternatives to classic snack foods, made with ingredients her mother would serve and recognize.
The name Late July is a nod to Nicole’s childhood and favorite time of year. Growing up on Cape Cod, late July is the height of summer. Everything is fresh, schools are still on vacation, and while there may be sand everywhere, there’s only one thing to do: live, love, and pass it on. From her family to yours, these delicious snacks are best shared with friends and family.
