Heineken Lager Beer, commonly known as Heineken, is a Dutch pale lager with 5% alcohol by volume, produced by Heineken N.V. Packaged in a green bottle with a red star, it has been brewed at the Zoeterwoude brewery in the Netherlands since 1975. In 2011, Heineken produced 2.74 billion liters of its beer globally, with a total production of 16.46 billion liters across all its brands. By 2022, Heineken was sold in 192 countries and had incorporated numerous beer brands in countries like Mexico, China, Australia, and various African nations.
