Frey Vineyards was founded in 1980 and became the first certified organic winery in the United States. Based in Redwood Valley, CA, Frey Vineyards produces both certified organic and certified biodynamic wines with minimal manipulation and no sulphites added to any of their wines.
Frey Vineyards has been living their commitment to the environment and their land for over 37 years now. Using biodynamic agricultural practices, they farm only 300 acres of their 1000 acres. The rest of the land remains in protected oak, madrone, and redwood forests and is rich in flora and fauna.
