Faction Brewing

Faction Brewing is a product of the marriage (literally) of employees of two local breweries. It opened to the public in late 2013 in a repurposed 25,000 sq. ft. Marine Corps helicopter hangar on the old Alameda Naval Base, looking out over the Bay. They offer a wide variety of pales, IPAs, Belgians, porters and stouts, as well as the occasional barrel-aged beer. The brewery has grown since its opening days, producing 4,500 barrels in 2015 and 6,500 in 2016. They're open to the public, so stop by for a pint and check out the brew deck, equipment and brewers hard at work alongside beautiful murals painted by local artists.
