Dominio Eguren
Dominio de Eguren was established by the visionary fourth generation of the Eguren family, with Marcos Eguren at the helm as the winemaker and Miguel Angel Eguren overseeing operations as the general manager. This winery embodies a precise philosophy centered on the meticulous selection and vinification of grapes sourced from their carefully managed vineyards in Manchuela.
The selected vineyards are notable for their advanced age, poor soils, and a distinctive microclimate, all of which contribute to the unique character of the grapes. These factors, combined with the family’s expertise in viticulture, ensure the production of superior Tempranillo, Bobal, Viura (Macabeo), and Airén grapes.
Dominio de Eguren prioritizes a rigorous grape selection process, aiming to only use the highest quality fruit. The vinification process includes a cold soak and fermentation in stainless steel, techniques chosen to preserve the freshness and purity of the wine. This approach results in young, clean, and vibrant wines that are not only of high quality but also affordable, making the pleasure of fine Spanish wine accessible to a broad audience.
The winery's dedication to quality, combined with their innovative approach to traditional Spanish winemaking, ensures that each bottle from Dominio de Eguren offers a unique glimpse into the rich viticultural heritage of the Eguren family, while also appealing to modern palates seeking exceptional value.
