In 2006, Matt Thomas started Townshend’s Tea Company with the idea of serving great teas in a casual teahouse setting and began making kombucha using those delicious teas. So many of their guests wanted the kombucha to go that Thomas decided to start bottling it under the name Brew Dr. Kombucha. Ten-plus years later, Brew Dr. Kombucha is still making "tea-first" kombucha with authentic, 100% raw and organic ingredients.
