Athletic Brewing Co. started when co-founder Bill Shufelt ordered a flavorless, watery non-alcoholic beer one night. Getting serious about fitness and about to get married at that time, he was looking for non-alcoholic options that would satisfy his tastebuds without compromising his lifestyle. After that night, it was his goal to create non-alcoholic beers that anyone could enjoy anytime and anywhere. Teaming up with now head brewer John Walker, the company was born. The pair began test-brewing in Stratford, CT where they crafted tons of batches on homebrew equipment. Once they figured out a process and flavor profiles, they built a brewery that remains one of the only two non-alcoholic facilities in the world (the other is their brewery in San Diego). All ingredients are sourced from sustainable farms around the world. Athletic Brewing Co. uses 100% sustainable practices to brew their award winning beer. They are on a mission to positively impact their customers' health, fitness, and happiness through their products while creating a lasting impact on communities and the environment.
