Anne's Toum
Anne's Toum is a husband-and-wife-run company inspired by the deep traditions of Lebanese cuisine. Raised in the Bay Area, Katia and Steve founded the business in honor of Katia's mother, Anne, whose toum recipe has been passed down for generations from their family in Beirut, Lebanon. The idea for the company began when Steve first tasted Katia’s homemade Lebanese food, falling in love with her toum during their first date—a love that continues to this day.
When Anne passed away unexpectedly in 2019, Katia and Steve decided to bring her legacy to life by sharing this beloved family recipe with the world. Anne's Toum is crafted with love and attention to detail, using only 100% California-grown garlic and organic high-oleic expeller sunflower oil to achieve a pure, vibrant garlic flavor. The toum is completely plant-based, with no fillers, binders, preservatives, or sugars, making it a clean, authentic representation of Lebanese cuisine.
As a woman-owned and minority-certified (MENA) business, Anne's Toum upholds the founding principle of "When in doubt, Love More," a sentiment they hope resonates in every meal shared with family and friends. This garlic sauce is more than just a product—it's a celebration of heritage, love, and the simple joys of sharing food.
