Anchor Brewing's Liberty Ale was first made in 1975 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Paul Revere's historic ride, and has the distinction of being the first commercial IPA brewed in the US post-Prohibition. With champagne-like bubbles, this ale is a clear expression of Cascade hops, with classic pine and grapefruit notes balanced by biscuity malt and smooth yeast character.
