Afia began its journey with a little black recipe book in Syria, capturing the essence of traditional Mediterranean cuisine. This journey led to a farmers' market in Austin, TX, and now, Afia's beloved dishes are available in stores nationwide. The love for authentic Mediterranean food inspires Afia to blend the rich, traditional flavors of their first home with the vibrant, modern flavors of their new one.

"Afia!" is a toast to health and well-being, a reminder to brighten the table and uplift those around it. At Afia, they are dedicated to creating authentic food from scratch in Austin, Texas, that nourishes both the body and the community. Their mission extends beyond just food; they aim to empower refugees and families in need. Since 2020, Afia has donated more than 300,000 falafel and kibbeh to feed the hungry in their community. They are also committed to employing refugees and supporting their education, ensuring that their impact is as nourishing as their food.
