North Coast Brewing Co.

Fort Bragg, CA
North Coast Brewing Co. was founded in 1988 in the coastal Mendocino town of Fort Bragg, CA. A pioneer in the industry, North Coast Brewing is the 47th largest craft brewery in the country. It's headed up by President & Co-Founder Mark Ruedrich, and has developed a strong reputation for quality—in fact, North Coast has won over a hundred awards in national and international competitions. Not only are they an outstanding brewery, they're a major part of their community. They partner with the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, Monterey Jazz Festival, and the American Jazz Museum, as well as dozens of local community organizations and non-profits from state parks to food banks and schools.

In addition, North Coast Brewing Co. is a Certified B Corporation, equally committed to the success of their employees, the satisfaction of their customers and shareholders, and the well-being of their community. They constantly strive for improvement both in their beer and in their stewardship of the environment. They're a signatory of the Brewery Climate Declaration, taking a stand for climate solutions, and their on-site sustainability initiatives include extensive water saving and waste reduction efforts, renewable energy, and an innovative carbon farming program with their partner Fortunate Farm. They run a unique closed-loop system where spent brewery grain is composted to sequester carbon and produce vegetables for the brewery’s Taproom. Their mission statement? "Our plan: make the world a better place, one pint at a time."
