The steaks come trimmed and tenderized, simply remove the abalone from the package and rinse off with tap water before cooking. Abalone steaks are typically prepared by pan frying them with oil or butter on medium high heat for about 30 seconds per side. If the abalone are not going to be used within 2 days of receiving we recommend freezing.
