Flashy Frizzy Lettuce Starts

We will load up your starter box with two six packs or six three inch pots of heirloom and hybrid lettuces that will be stunningly beautiful, delicious and easy to transplant and grow in your garden or in a larger container. 

We feature Frizzy Headed Drunken Woman (an heirloom loose leaf lettuce), Flashy Trout's Back (a speckled romaine), Cherokee (dark red crisp head), Black Seeded Simpson (heirloom bibb lettuce that is frost and drought tolerant) and a variety of other hardy romaine and leaf lettuces.  

How to Plant:  Select a partly sunny location in the garden or large container.  Remove lettuce plants from the 6-pack or 3" pots  by gently squeezing them out.  Set the lettuce plants into the soil and tamp down garden soil around the plug.  Water. Lettuce leaves can be harvested a few at a time or wait for the plant to mature and harvest the entire plant .

There are usually more than one lettuce per cell in the six pack.  It is not necessary to separate them.
