Scribe Winery's Carneros Pinot Noir is fermented with native wild yeast in concrete or steel, then aged in neutral oak barrels for about six months. It has stone fruit aromas like cherry and plum, as well as earthiness, followed by spice and clay on the palate. It's a light-bodied wine, velvety with a moderate acidity. It will pair well with umami-rich foods like smoked, braised, or marinated meats, miso-glazed fish and veggies, curries, and tagines.
