Scribe's Atlas West Cabernet Sauvignon comes from fruit grown along the western slopes on Atlas Peak in Napa. Even for this bigger style of Cabernet, Scribe's approach to winemaking remains consistent. They harvest the fruit at low sugar levels to balance the wine’s powerful structure and depth with brightness. It is vinified in steel and then aged in oak. The finished wine has aromas of blackberry, pepper, and a hint of vanilla, which come through on the palate as well as plum, cherry, baking spice, wet earth, and minerality. Full-bodied yet balanced, Atlas West Cabernet Sauvignon has velvety tannins with a kiss of acidity.
