“STS” is the 3-letter code for the local Sonoma County Airport, the Charles M. Schulz Airport. STS Pils is a classic German-style pilsner with a Russian River twist because we dry hop this beer with a small amount of European hops. It is straw in color and will often have a slight haze because there is a small amount of yeast left in the beer. This beer is hop-forward with a firm malt foundation, strong lager yeast characteristic, and a dry, bitter finish.

Russian River Brewing Company was established in 1997 by Korbel Champagne Cellars among the majestic redwoods in West Sonoma County. After 6 years, Korbel decided to get out of the beer business and agreed to transfer the brand and all recipes to their head brewer, Vinnie Cilurzo.
