North Coast Brewing Co. is proud to partner with the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz in support of jazz education, making a donation to the Institute for every bottle of Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale sold. This beer has aromas of roasted nuts and cocoa that follow through on the palate. It has a dry, medium-full body with very good depth and a boozy, brandied note to the flavor. Brother Thelonious finishes with flavors of chewy, toasted pumpernickel bread, burnt sugar, dried autumn fruit, and hints of baking spice. Pair it with spiced flavors like roast ham, pumpkin pie, or winter squash.
