Masumoto Family Farm

We are the Masumoto Family Farm, a fourth-generation family farm located twenty miles south of Fresno, in the heart of California. We've been farming organically since the 1980s. We aspire to be artisan farmers, working on a small scale, approaching work as craftspeople, engaging more as artists than as businesspeople. When we plow the earth, something is plowed into us. We live on our farm and draw no lines between our work life and family life (which makes for priceless moments and sometimes intense family dinners!). The land we work is where our great-grandparents and grandparents forged a life in the face of extreme challenge; it is the same land that we call home and where we feel called to dedicate our lives to farming sustainably. We believe in a spirit of resilience. We hope the work we put into the farm makes every bite of peach or nectarine that much sweeter and leave a memory worth sharing in a story.
