These fresh pods should not be consumed raw, we recommend steaming and sprinkling with salt or boiling them in salty water for a few minutes for a classic preparation. For even more flavor, parboil, then finish them off by sautéing them in a sauce of soy sauce, maple syrup, and rice wine vinegar.
