Coloration and dahlia type change depending on what's looking best at harvest.  This particular variety comes in a wide range of colors, from bright summer shades to dark burgundies.  

These dahlias should last between 7-10 days with proper care.  Periodically trim their stems and change their water daily (warm water works best).
