Known both as garbanzo beans and chickpeas, these plump and chewy beans, are incredibly versatile. whether you are looking to bulk up a salad, make hummus, or are scouring your pantry for a salty snack (try them roasted--our favorite!). Depending on the time of year Eden sources their garbanzos from organic family farms in either California or Arizona. Ready to use—cooked in a kosher facility with no salt added.
To roast: Drain and pat dry before lightly tossing in olive oil and your favorite spices. Roast at 450 degrees on a parchment paper lined baking sheet until golden brown (approx. 40 mins), shaking the pan occasionally to ensure even cooking.
