Crespo Organic Mangoes

Crespo Organic Mangoes is the organic mango label behind El Grupo Crespo, Mexico's premier direct-trade grower of Mangos. They've been growing mangos in Mexico for over four generations, and they grow their own fruit on their own land in most growing regions, including Chiapas and Oaxaca, working with select grower partners in Nayarit and Sinaloa. Crespo began three years ago to work around brokers and other middlepeople to ensure that their network of growers makes the highest returns possible. With these higher returns, they were able to upgrade their packing house machinery, which meant better, safer working conditions. Crespo's packinghouse, Empaque Don Jorge, is located in Rosario, Sinaloa, MX, and its state of the art facilities and well-trained staff ensure that this sensitive tropical fruit makes it to Good Eggs in perfect condition. Over 80% of Crespo's orchards are certified organic, with the others in transition to become organic in the near future. They are Global GAP certified, which ensure that they're meeting many of the employee training, safety and reporting requirements that are also required in fair trade certifications.
