This is a robust oil, with big fresh green fruit with hints of wheatgrass and apple, and a peppery finish. It is ideally suited for drizzling on soups, grilled meats and vegetables, and in salads and pasta. This amazing oil is the winner of a silver medal in the 2013 California Olive Oil Council competition, a silver medal in the 2013 Yolo County Fair, and a gold medal at the Los Angeles County Fair.

We here in the valley have been experiencing an olive boom in recent years with the addition of several new producers, a local mill and so many gold medal and Best in Class awards, it's no wonder this region is being recognized across the globe as a burgeoning olive oil hot spot. Because the valley has long been a front-runner in the local organic movement, most of our olive producers practice organic and/or sustainable growing practices.
