Extraordinary quality for a decidedly modest price, this is one of the most addictive Italian reds released this year. Ca' La Bionda's Alessandro Castellani studied in the cellars at Chateau Margaux, Tuscany's iconic Isole e Olena, and a "who's who" of top European estates before returning to oversee his family's small certified organic farm in Valpolicella. Perhaps it's no surprise, then, that this organic Valpolicella feels like Italy's answer to Burgundian Pinot Noir.
Ingredients: organic grapes.
