For an easy baking project, try fewer mixing bowls, and more fun decorating. This kit includes cookie dough from a local bakery, a quick frosting, and plenty of sprinkles.
Contains: milk, eggs, wheat.
What You Get
Gingerbread cookie dough
Powdered sugar
Sprinkles
What You'll Need
All-purpose flour
Butter, at room temperature
Milk
Salt
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a sheet tray with parchment. Set the dough on the counter, and let it start to come to room temperature, 10 minutes.
Step 2
On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the dough about ¼-inch thick. Use cookie cutters to stamp out shapes. Transfer the shapes to the prepared pan and bake until golden, about 15 minutes. Let cool completely.
Step 3
Meanwhile, make the frosting: In a bowl, combine the powdered sugar, ½ cup butter, ¼ cup milk, and a pinch of salt. Using a handheld electric mixer, beat until fluffy.
Step 4
When the cookies are cool, spread with the frosting and decorate with sprinkles. Serve right away or transfer to an airtight container and store for up to 5 days.
