What You Get

Step 1
In a saucepan over medium heat, reheat the pork and barbecue sauce until the sauce thickens slightly and the pork is warmed through, about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt. Set aside and keep warm.
Step 2
Meanwhile, place the slaw mix in a bowl. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon of the vinegar from the pickled onion, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and toss to coat. Let rest to soften, 5 minutes. Toast the buns.
Step 3
To build the sandwiches, place the buns on plates and pile with the barbecue pork and coleslaw. Top with a few pickled onions and serve warm.
