Boudin Sourdough
San Francisco, CA
In 1849, Isidore Boudin struck gold with four simple ingredients: flour, water, salt, and a sourdough starter known as the “Mother Dough”. Over 170 years later, Boudin is officially known as “The Original San Francisco Sourdough Bread,” with a piece of the original 1849 “Mother Dough” baked into every sourdough product they produce.
