Strawflower, Xerochrysum bracteatum, bearing distinct, papery bracts which resemble petals, make for wonderful summer flowers. Popular for their place in summer bouquets and arrangements, they make a fine arrangement placed in their own vase. Flowers will arrive closed to partially-closed; their bracts will open over the course of a few days, revealing gorgeous golden or white flower heads in their center.
The vase life for these treasures is between 7 and 10 days. Keep them in a clean vase and trim their stems after delivery. Keep them out of direct sunlight and replace their water regularly.
