Strawberry season is fleeting, and Batter Bakery takes advantage by scooping up Yerena Farm's best strawberries and baking them into a playful upside-down cake with buttermilk, brown sugar, vanilla, and spices. This cake is outstanding at room temperature or straight out of the fridge, and we've tested it for all meals (breakfast through midnight snack) with very positive results—not even a crumb left behind.
