Abbot's Butcher's Ground "Beef" is plant-based and full of flavor. Made with pea protein, onion, thyme, and porcini mushroom, this "Beef" is savory and earthy. You will not find any added sugars, preservatives, or artificial colors in this meat alternative, but it does provide 18 grams of protein per serving. Its versatility allows it to be used in a multitude of dishes such as spaghetti bolognese, tacos, sloppy joes, chili, or stuffed cabbage and peppers.
Cooking Instructions:
If frozen, defrost before cooking.
Skillet: Crumble the Ground "Beef" into a bowl. Warm a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat. Add the "Beef" and saute until thoroughly browned and warmed (165 F) throughout - about 6 to 8 minutes. Allow to rest a few moments before putting into a sauce or enjoying as is.
Oven: If using on a flatbread or pizza, simply top with the "Beef" and bake until cooked (165 F) throughout.
